To understand what to expect for your first visit to our practice, please read through this page. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more. You can even save some time at your first visit by completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment!

 Mission Statement

As your long-standing local dentist office, we strive to provide a comfortable, familiar office that is completely yours. Our doctors and staff work for you and your dental needs! The communication between doctors, staff, and patient is essential at our office. By taking a preventative approach and a step by step process, our patients are able to make educated decisions about their personal oral health. As your dental care provider, we will strive to give you a healthier, happier lifestyle starting with your smile!

"Dental health is the first priority in our office. I take a conservative approach in dentistry by listening to our patients and standing by the philosophy...if it isn't broken than don't fix it!" -Dr. Jim

 What To Expect

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our  staff  page and familiarize yourself with the doctors. We look forward to your first visit!

Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on a separate day.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • X-rays (if applicable)
  • A list of your current medications
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

IMPORTANT:  A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e,. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) .

X-Rays

If you have x-rays from a previous dentist or physician, you may request that they forward them to our office or we can assist you in getting them transferred to us. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
